March 2: Corporations Are Not People: A Discussion with Author Jeffrey D. Clements
This Friday, attend this special program with author and Free Speech for People Co-Founder Jeff Clements to discuss and celebrate his new book, Corporations Are Not People.
With a foreword by Bill Moyers, Corporations Are Not People tells the true story of how some of the largest corporations in the world took over our government and Constitution, culminating in 2010 with the 5-4 Supreme Court decision, Citizens United v. Federal Election Commission.

March 23-25: The Economics of Happiness Conference: Creating a Better Future for All
Come see speakers including RAN Executive Director Becky Tarbotton, The Story of Stuff’s Annie Leonard, Bill McKibben, Helena Norberg-Hodge and more at the upcoming Economics of Happiness Conference.
Bringing together some of the most respected thinkers and activists in the worldwide localization movement, the conference will focus on an agenda for change — from jobless growth towards sustainable livelihoods; from large-scale sweatshops towards scaled-down business; from self-recrimination and guilt towards empowerment and collaboration; from a globalized system of exploitation and inequality towards an economics of happiness.

March 29: Black Flags and Windmills: Presentation & discussion with anarchist-author Scott Crow
Join us for a presentation by longtime political activist, strategist, and author Scott Crow from his new book, Black Flags and Windmills: Hope, Anarchy and the Common Ground Collective, issued last year on PM Press.
Crow will discuss climate justice, the impact of past movements on current organizing and the creation of the Common Ground Collective — an anarchist/horizontal organization formed after Hurricane Katrina hit in 2005.
