How to educate yourself, donate, and get involved

By Ginger Cassady

RAN stands in solidarity with those in the streets bringing attention to the movement for black lives and seeking to gain justice for George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, Tony McDade, and the endless list of Black lives cut short by systemic racism.

We’ve had lots of people ask what they can do to help.

Here is a great rundown of excellent anti-racist materials to learn how to actively work to be anti-racist. Anti-racism isn’t about one act or a declaration, it’s achieved through action and active allyship with Black folks and people of color. This list was started after the murder of Breonna Taylor to continue to educate white folks.

ANTI-RACISM RESOURCES

Many of the organizations that are based in Minneapolis have been overwhelmed with donations and support, which is incredible! They’ve asked to spread around the support to other black-led organizations and community funds based in Minneapolis.
