“It’s been five years since BP’s Deepwater Horizon rig exploded in the Gulf of Mexico, resulting in largest oil spillin American history. The company released a report last month saying the gulf is returning to conditions before the spill.
But activist Bryan Parras says many Gulf Coast residents disagree. He says they’re concerned about long-term health risks and environmental impacts.
‘It was in the interest of the many thousands of folks suffering from this disaster to stay there until these questions were addressed,’ Parras says.”
