In 2009, Robin joined RAN where they are currently the Agribusiness Campaign Director. Robin has worked in RAN’s forest program for 10 years on its Conflict Palm Oil and Rainforest Free Paper campaigns, both of which are focused on addressing the market drivers of deforestation and human rights abuses in Indonesia. Together with RAN’s team, Robin has helped lead campaigns and negotiations with over 100 companies, resulting in numerous corporate policies and implementation plans addressing deforestation, climate change and human and labor rights abuses. Prior to RAN, Robin worked for Greenpeace USA on its North American Boreal forest campaign, and previously, for Arizona PIRG. Robin has been a long-time environmental and social justice activist, starting with leading their high school environmental group. They grew up in Wisconsin and studied environmental policy at Brown University and in northern Brazil.
