About the campaign

The Campus Climate Challenge is a project of 37 leading youth and environmental organizations that have come together to build a generation-wide movement to stop global warming. The Challenge leverages the power of young people to organize to win 100% Clean Energy policies at their schools and to lead our society to a clean energy future.

Get your school to become as energy efficient as possible by:

• Getting your administration to switch all your school’s light bulbs to compact fluorescent bulbs and turn off computers and other electrical equipment at night.
• Getting your administration to power the school as much as possible from clean energy sources, either by buying clean energy from the local utility company, or by installing solar panels or wind turbines.
• Getting your classmates to car-pool more often and your administration to agree to only buy fuel-efficient vehicles and use biodiesel fuel in the school buses.
