IMPACT isn't just for any business; it takes integrity and genuine commitment to sustainability to become a member.

IMPACT members are guiding examples of the real alternatives to the traditional pillage-and-plunder business structure that RAN works to transform.

Our successful market-based campaigns are strengthened by our earnest relationships with the progressive business community. As IMPACT members, companies like yours empower our efforts to realign the policies of corporations – many of which argue that profits will suffer if their way of doing business changes – and prove that it’s possible to do well by doing good.

IMPACT enables us to publicly acknowledge progressive companies that make financial and in-kind contributions to support RAN’s critical work. Your participation in IMPACT offers many benefits, including acknowledgement in RAN publications and on our website; invitations to RAN events; RAN's Greening Guide; and opportunities to network with other progressive companies.

Remember: IMPACT isn't simply a thank-you program; it highlights the ethics and values of its members whose business models and practices are an important step toward environmental and social sustainability.

Frey Vineyards

Frey Vineyards is America's first organic winery, family-owned and operated in GMO-free Mendocino since 1980. Dedicated to organic and Biodynamic® farming, the Freys tend 170 acres of grapes on their 1,000-acre property. The rest of the land is a Douglas fir, oak, madrone and redwood forest that is home to many species of plants, animals, birds and insects. Organic winemaking practices are followed allowing no synthetic preservatives, such as sulfites in the wine. freywine.com

guayaki

Guayaki began as a college-senior project in 1996. The company is really passionate about the benefits of the yerba mate beverage, and sought to create a new restorative-business model built around rainforest-grown yerba mate. Today, Guayaki is a mission-driven yerba mate beverage company dedicated to environmental restoration and social change that provides a wide portfolio of high-quality yerba mate in tea bags, bottles and in its traditional loose form. Guayaki believes in Market Driven Restoration, through which people who purchase Guayaki yerba mate beverages drive the restoration of the rainforest. The company also creates markets for sustainable harvested yerba mate as an alternative to destructive practices such as deforestation for lumber, cattle grazing and mono-crop agriculture.
