For 25 years, RAN has challenged the corporate status quo and secured numerous victories for the planet. And for the next eight months, we're rolling out the green carpet to celebrate our accomplishments and the many people who have made them possible. This celebration will be extra special, however, as we'll pay tribute to one of RAN's most charismatic and effective leaders - outgoing executive director, Michael Brune.
Eat, drink and shake your thing at the Lake Chalet - a remarkable LEED-certified jewel in the heart of Oakland - as we kick off our 25th Anniversary and send Mike off in style. The evening will feature a sampling of Lake Chalet's finest cuisine (check out the great menu); microbrews and tasty cocktails from the full top-shelf bar; a tribute to Mike's spirit and leadership; and inspiring conversation with luminaries and activists of the social change movement - including RAN co-founder Mike Roselle!
Entry is free if you participate in our $25K Challenge by becoming a $25-per-month sustainer! In doing so, you will help us reach our goal to raise $25,000 to celebrate RAN's 25th Anniversary. You can also join in the fun with a special donation honoring Mike's work in an online tribute book. Tickets are available on a sliding scale of $50 - $1,000. All proceeds will benefit Rainforest Action Network.
