Partygoers sipped tea and socialized with some of the nation’s most inspiring environmentalists. The afternoon included delicious organic nibbles by Akasha Restaurant, earth-friendly wines and teas, and a behind-the-scenes look at how Rainforest Action Network is pushing some of the world’s dirtiest corporations toward a new greener world.
We also had a great discussion about RAN's plan to end mountaintop removal coal mining in Appalachia within the next 12 months. Please sign the petition and tell President Obama to go to West Virginia and see the destruction firsthand!
